Geting Started

I'm trying to code an html page in a notepad,when I save it as an html file,it opens,but I cant make changes on it using the same notepad. what should I do so that the changes I make on the notepad refelect on the html page? Where should the notepad be saved so that I can continue with it next time I'm working on the same page. Also if I have a css notepad,where should I save it? Also can all photos (gif) be used on a page directlyy from your pc?

Always save your files in the same folder: pictures, html, css, php, javascript, asp, etc.

If you want to look in a folder for a file: foldername/filename

If you want to go out of the current folder (one level up) : ../filename

In order to see changes on your site, you must save your notepad and refresh the page...

for Next Time Editing Use right click and open with option or Edit option from menu.
