Setting photos into an html document

When I try to get a photo into my html code using <img src="benjamino.jpg>, it does work even after saving the html doc and the photo on the same folder. My question is, do all photos work on an html document? (mine are taken with a phone). If no,what do I need with the photos to make them work?

check your image name and spell and the extension is it really jpg or any other format try to change it with any other image and finally learn to add images in html document at
