notebook file always saves as text file

I save the notebook file in the HTML lessons and i save it with "All Files" but when I open it up it comes up as a text file! It shows it in the documents when I look at the title it says text file! then when I open the new tab and do the control +o thing and select open it just shows the HTML coding, not what the lesson wants it to say! It is supposed to say stuff about hurrah and this is my website and etcetera but it doesn't! It shows the cooding I wrote!

I did! Even when I go onto browse,it says that it is a ttext file!
